Katie Swartvagher

Katie is another one of our artists that is currently a full time University student. She comes to us from a small town in New York, where she was born and raised, but we had the pleasure of meeting Katie when she was training in Park City, Utah, as an aerial ski jumper.

Since retiring from the sport of aerials, she has been able to prioritize her hobbies in the arts while attending University. While working towards a degree in Anthropology, Katie decided to minor in Digital Art, because although her immediate goal isn’t necessarily to become a full time artist, art is still more than just a hobby for her. Katie hopes to spread her art far and wide, and to make impact where she is called to.

“Creativity is the ability to allow your mind to think without borders and structures. When you allow your mind to do that you are able to reveal parts of yourself that are normally hidden by social constraints.”

Natalia comes to us all the way from Chicago. She loves to draw and write poetry, but her current passion is making jewelry. Natalia considers herself a part-time artist, keeping her work and play balanced, but finds herself being able to stay creative even at work by making fun hand drawn signs for her local Trader Joe’s. Natalia hopes to continue expressing her creativity through her current outlets, as well as attending craft fairs, but would love to eventually have a website for her jewelry business, so she can sell online as well. While her style tends to change because she loves to experiment, you can count on most of her artwork to be on the whimsical side. If you’d like to see more of Natalia’s work, make sure to follow her on Instagram!

Paxton Juhlin

Paxton is originally from Utah, but has continued to master his crafts while residing in Montana over the last few years. His main focus for expressing his creativity is through metalsmithing and multimedia, which allows him to create wearable objects that empower the wearer and give them a new sense of confidence. Paxton describes his style as glam punk and hopes to be in more shows and exhibitions in the future, as he is becoming more of a gallery specific artist. Make sure to check out Paxton’s website, where he sells some of his incredible work, including prints and metal work.
